She approaches therapy collaboratively and from a trauma-informed lens to provide a nonjudgmental and safe environment filled with curiosity, humour, and honesty. Laura specializes in anxiety and anxiety-related issues, trauma recovery, existential concerns, chronic illness, identity and sexuality, relationships, self-worth/self-compassion, and grief. She has experience working with people with diverse experiences and backgrounds and works closely with the LGBTQ+ community. Laura works from a social justice lens and considers how systemic factors contribute to a client’s experience of life.

She is also a Certified Clinical Service Provider for individuals with ADHD.  Lisa is an approved supervisor with the NSCCT and supervises registered counselling therapists working on their candidacy.
